How We Qualified Commercial Solar Panel Leads.
Our client, a commercial solar panel installation company, needed to generate highly qualified leads for businesses with suitable building infrastructure for solar panel installation. Their existing marketing efforts were yielding low-quality leads, wasting time and resources on prospects whose properties weren't a good fit.
We developed a highly targeted lead generation strategy, which successfully generated generating 45 high value leads for commercial solar arrays. This focused on identifying and qualifying businesses with ideal building characteristics for commercial solar panel installations. Our approach included:
Ideal Customer Profiling: We worked closely with our client to define their Ideal Customer Profile (ICP). Through this process they were able to provide us with a list focusing on specific building types (e.g., warehouses, manufacturing facilities, large office buildings), roof size and orientation, and energy consumption patterns.
Data-Driven Targeting: We leveraged multiple data sources to identify potential clients matching the ICP. Satellite Imagery to analyse building rooftops for size, orientation, and potential shading issues.
Property Databases: We accessed commercial property databases to gather information about building ownership, size, and usage.
Outreach: We used a multi-channel outreach approach, combining personalised Non-Automated LinkedIn connections, targeted email campaigns, and direct phone calls.
Our messaging highlighted the financial benefits of solar panel installations, including cost savings on energy bills, tax incentives, and sustainability benefits.
Qualification: This is a big project for any company and so we needed to understand the prospect’s level of interest to see if it was worth our client’s time. For those that did not meet the right criteria we implemented a structured follow-up process to nurture leads and schedule consultations with the client's sales team.
