Interpreneur by Simon Coulson book review

Intro

I got this book for free when at a trade show in London for a client. I loved this book so much that I had finished it by the time we were back in Bristol!

This book gives an excellent overview of how you can grow your business through creating and selling information products, like training and how-to guides. To be honest, this is more of an introduction to selling training online. It’s an entertaining and engaging read that gives an overview

Key messages from the book:

This book is about applying specialist knowledge that he himself doesn’t possess. He gets subject matter experts to create great content and then he creates an automated marketing funnel to sell it

My main takeaway was his business model

• Information needed Identify areas of specialist knowledge in great need at the moment e.g. a year ago would’ve been ‘how to prepare for GDPR’
• Create content Get subject matter experts to create great content
• Marketing funnel Create website and automated funnel and sell eBooks for approx £20 each

Who would love this book:

• A good introduction to automated marketing
• If you’re looking to scale your business through automated marketing
• Looking to earn money in a time efficient way
